Privacy policy
This policy describes what actually happens on this website, which is very little. We have written it to match the system rather than to cover every hypothetical, on the principle that a policy describing things we do not do is not a policy at all.
1. What this site is
centralux.ai is a set of static informational pages describing the services of Centralux AI LLC (“Centralux”, “we”, “us”). There is no user account system, no login, no shopping cart, no payment processing and no contact form on this website. Nothing on these pages asks you to submit personal information, and no script on these pages transmits information about you to us.
Two things are deliberately not part of this website and are covered separately below: our email address, which is an ordinary business mailbox, and our booking page at book.centralux.ai, which is operated for us by a third-party scheduling provider.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Directly through this website
None. These pages contain no forms, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party trackers.
2.2 If you email us
When you write to contact@centralux.ai we receive whatever your message contains — typically your name, email address, company, and the details of what you are trying to solve. That message is stored in our business mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace.
2.3 If you book a call
Our booking page is provided by our scheduling provider (Cal.com). When you book, you give that provider your name, email address, time zone, and any notes you choose to add, and it creates a calendar event and sends confirmations. The booking is recorded in our business calendar. That provider processes your booking under its own privacy terms, which are linked from the booking page.
2.4 Technical logs from hosting
This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for delivery, security and abuse prevention. We do not build profiles from these logs and we do not use them for marketing.
2.5 Fonts
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. This is the only external resource these pages request. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google’s servers, which receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request, in accordance with Google’s own policies. No other third-party asset is loaded.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage for tracking purposes. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and bot mitigation. The booking subdomain and any third-party site we link to set their own cookies under their own policies. Because we run no advertising or analytics cookies, there is no consent banner to click through.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals for the simple reason that there is nothing on this site to switch off.
4. How we use information
- To reply to your enquiry and to have the conversation you asked for.
- To schedule, confirm and reschedule calls you have booked.
- To prepare a proposal or written specification if you ask for one.
- To perform and administer an engagement if one begins, including invoicing.
- To keep ordinary business records, and to meet tax and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade or share it for advertising, and we do not use enquiry content to train machine-learning models. We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us; if we ever start a mailing list it will be opt-in and separate.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the business. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS and content delivery for this website; processes request logs.
- Google Workspace — our email and calendar on our own domain; stores messages you send us.
- Cal.com — the scheduling service behind
book.centralux.ai; processes booking details. - Google Fonts — delivery of the typefaces used on these pages.
- Stripe — payment processing, used only if you become a client and receive an invoice. No payment data is collected on this website.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. If that ever happened we would tell you unless legally prevented from doing so.
6. Retention
- Enquiry email — kept while the conversation is live and for up to twenty-four months afterwards, so that we can pick up a thread you left open. Deleted sooner on request.
- Booking records — kept in our calendar as an ordinary business record; retained by the scheduling provider under its own schedule.
- Client engagement records — kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
- Hosting logs — retained by our hosting provider under its own default retention period; we do not export or archive them.
7. Your choices and rights
Write to contact@centralux.ai and we will act on any of the following. We aim to respond within one business day and to complete the request within thirty days.
- Access — ask what we hold about you. Given the above, the answer is usually “your emails and your booking”.
- Correction — ask us to fix something inaccurate.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your enquiry and booking records. We will, except where a record must be kept for tax or legal reasons, and we will say so if that applies.
- Copy — ask for a copy of the correspondence we hold.
- Objection — tell us to stop contacting you. We will.
Depending on where you live, you may have these rights by statute — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We extend them to everyone who asks, regardless of location, because maintaining two standards would be more work than simply honouring the higher one. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of them.
8. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Our email and calendar accounts are protected with two-factor authentication, and access to any client system is held under credentials issued by that client. We keep the number of systems holding your information deliberately small, which is the most effective security measure available to a business of our size. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
9. Children
This site is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Visitors outside the United States
Centralux AI LLC operates in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there. By writing to us or booking a call, you understand that this transfer takes place.
11. Client data during an engagement
This policy covers visitors to this website and people who enquire. If you become a client, the handling of your operational data is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this page. The standing position, described in full on the about page, is that client systems are single-tenant and run in infrastructure the client owns, under credentials the client holds and can revoke; that client data is never pooled with another client’s; and that client data is never used to train models.
12. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it, and the previous version is superseded from that date. We will not make a change retroactive.
Questions or requests: contact@centralux.ai, or write to Centralux AI LLC, 109 Hay St Suite 202, Fayetteville, NC 28301, United States.
